Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.

I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

  1. You didn’t need that in the 1st 9 vs Westy 🤣🤣🤣😅✌️

  2. Just what I need…another shaft clogging up my already clogged golf bag 😅

  3. Hey Rick that's not actually what it's for. We have those at my golf course and we use them to remove 100's of extra plugged balls in our driving range that are too deep into the ground for the machine to pick up in the rainy winter months. Saves us from bending over all day long. Try it next time you plug one and don't want to dig it out with your fingers.

  4. Stick the fork in UNDER the divot and do a slow pry up. It’s meant for older people, so I feel as if that’s the “technique” that would be used. Would make the repair quick

  5. Its quite unfair to give his a bad review when you didnt even get fitted for it.🧐😂

  6. He’s needs to turn it 180 so it angles the other way. Yes, it is for old people and yes I can’t bend over . The one I have has a ball pick up cup on the other too .

  7. I just wanna add that he was fixing it wrong… ur suppose to go the other way…and b3fore I get clowned I've work in golf my entire life from bag room to building custom golf clubs to being a pro

  8. This could be very useful for people who cannot bend down. Same idea as those clips on the back of your putter to pick up your ball from the ground and whatnot…

  9. I golf with allot of old guys and I think the idea is good but the execution was bad.
Surely a better tool could be created for the older set to reduce the amount they have to bend over.

  10. I think it’s for people that have issues that makes it hard to bend over. Same as the golf club that fires blanks to hit the ball.

  11. Of course you don’t like it it’s extremely thoughtful

  12. Its for old ppl.. Did Rick even consider this? Not very bright either way

  13. I could see older senior golfers using this so they don't have to bend down. the same ones who use the long shafted putters that allow them to stand more upright…

  14. Well it’s probably for people who can’t bend down easy

  15. What do you when you get to the green and there are multiple divots. I don’t know which one is mine so I usually just fix one. I’ve played some places and it’s like a minefield with the divots.

  16. Can you do a video on the new mavrik 22 driver and see if it’s the same as the original mavrik ? Looks the same but about 45% cheaper from new ?

  17. Use it in the garden Rick, remove those weeds ☘️🌿🌱🍄🌾

  18. Now if that was on the flag stick, no one has an excuse to not fix their pitch marks

  19. Damn, I’ve just been custom fitted for one of these. Dynamic Gold Extra Stiff, cost me £399.99 😪

  20. Good for the old boys who have suckers on the putter grip to get the ball out the hole. They cant bend to get the ball let alone repair their pitch mark

  21. When your ball hits the green?! Pshh, I don't need that!😂😂

  22. That tool does have its uses. It is great when you are hitting pitches into a practice green. If you are hitting 30-40 balls into a practice green, using a normal tool just kills my back but using this tool eliminates the back problems and, because it is only a practice green, you don't really have to be perfect in repairing the ball mark like you would on an actual green. The other end of my tool has a flat top so I can turn it over to help tap the marks down after repairing them.

  23. It might help the lazy gits who won't bend to fix a pitch mark

  24. The ONLY thing I would say is it would help people with disabilities yea?
