  1. Best line from this video "How do you pull a 60 degree wedge?" lol

  2. Some interesting points there at the end fellas.
Also like to see Sam giving Scott some stick back on the course as he was giving him some needle 🤷‍♂️Get Big Sam firing out the lip, bit of mind games banter love it

  3. It's the Saudi royal family trying to buy publicity, that's all.. It's horrible what they do and it's horrible what they're doing to try to sway public opinion.

BUT from a personal/golfers perspective you'd be nuts NOT to take them up on it! 1yr of your life to set yourself up? 2 years and potentially never worry about money again. The likes of DJ/Phil M on their massive deals – they've set up their family and their children's families for life. Just with a signing bonus!

As a golfer, make the most of it while you can. Something tells me if/when allegiances shift – this will all come to an end. Cash-in while you can.

  4. The thing that I think is getting peoples backs up, over these big names signing up to LIV, is that not one of them has publicly come out and said it's the money. Competition is good, but the amount of money being thrown at these players is unbelievable. I do agree with Sam and his comments on younger/first time pros getting some security in their first years of play though. I suppose it's a case of watch this space! 🤔

  5. The way the PGA tour are handling the LIV golf situation, it is going to bite them in the rear end long term. As Scott pointed out, which coincided with my comments on other platforms. The PGA tour & DP tour have allowed players to attend numerous Saudi competitions without any issues. For them to now state, anyone who plays on the LIV tour, will be banned from the PGA tour, smacks of anti competition and bullying players. If this goes to court, the PGA tour could come unstuck, based on previous evidence. The irony of their current stance is clear for all to see, as will the courts, as and when it comes to that.

  6. Hi Gary, I thought Scott raised some pertinent points. However, he talked about not many millionaires. I looked at two who had been hovering around the 100 mark this year. Andrew Landrey net worth $6m and Ryan Palmer net worth $18m.

  7. You shouldn't be pulling it on camera Gaz ‼️‼️‼️🙈
There's better ways of making a living lad. 🤔🙂

  8. I believe that the PGA feels threatened. I don't think I'll be watching anymore PGA events.

  9. I didn’t see the big 6 trying to cancel Newcastle… I did see people get up in arms when the takeover happened, but the PL didn’t care, big 6 didn’t. pga is being a bull, And this will all blow over before 2023

  10. It's called coemption to the pga tour, like Rusty said in his comment, they poached players off the European Tour to come to the USA to play, the European Tour did not ban them from coming back. Your'e a independent contractor they don't pay you to play or pay your caddie, only the opportunity to play, explain how this is hurting the PGA tour, these guys made a lot of money for charity by playing there, and now the PGA tour feels they get to tell people they don't get to play on the tour anymore, remember the PGA tour is a non-profit organization. As I remember they formed the PGA tour and abandoned the PGA Professional way back in the 50's, whose calling the kettle black

  11. I don’t really have anything against LIV because I just enjoy watching golf especially to top guy’s

  12. How is it that the PGA tour allowed their members to play in the tournament in Saudi over the last few years isn't this the same immoral country that are backing LiV golf. Or or does the tour feel threatened this time.

  13. In my opinion the pga being a play ground bully. Could be wrong but didn't the pga do the same thing and poached players off the European tour before when the two were separate.

  14. The liv tour is in its infancy, as it grows, which it is doing, it will become more innovative and more competitive and I think it will create its own niche. I have no issue with it at all. Saudi money, Chinese money, Russian money etc it's in everything we buy or use in the uk. It's hypocritical to blame someone for cashing in on it when we buy imported crap because it's cheaper than what's manufactured at home. I'm a golf fan who doesn't have sky, there's finally live golf that I can watch on youtube without endless ads.

  15. Watch a handful of players play in ridiculously overbudgeted exhibition matches over and over again while giving nothing back to anyone who helped them get there, apart from maybe their own accountants, or watch the PGA, DP World, etc…etc….continue what they've been doing for ages bring new people and new venues to our attention and give countless financial support/ attention to causes that need the help and continue to grow the game? Doesn't seem like a difficult choice to me.

  16. LIV is missing something if it thinks these artificial teams can generate tension, they could have gone for a mixed up format such as mixed pairs with 4 ball better ball, even a par 3 tournaments or even introducing bunker challenges with a skins type format. Team of three all Play out total score counts. Same with putting, having the ball in hard positions and seeing team score etc.
if you want to trick it up, do so not just a 3 round medal comp.

  17. With the way the PGA tour is handling it. This gives the DP world tour a chance to have big names play on it. We play golf for the love of the game. They play golf not just for the love of the game but also as a living. If we had a chance to get paid even double or even more at another company we would probably jump also

  18. For anybody that's not familiar with Huddersfield G.C, the camera doesn't show just how much of a hillside that green on the first par 3 on this vlog is.

LIV golf was great Gaz, refreshing change to be able to watch pro golf on You Tube. Already, the series has made some talented young golfers comfortable. I think by the time it gets to Portland, it will have gathered a lot more support, get some raucous americans round those greens and it shoud be a great spectacle.

  19. 205 yard par 3 then 193 yard par 3! Not my kind of golf course, par 3’s well designed don’t need to be more than 170

  20. It’s a sticky subject!! I’ll chat with you about it when I see you! Btw any chance of me playing a round at Royal Huddersfield GC. I’ve only played a few holes there. You don’t have to come all the way round with me. But it’d be great if you did. Help with shot selection would be most appreciated.

  21. Hello Gary. I believe everyone is being pushed towards two points by the media, social media, and the PGA Tour. Crazy amount of money and being in bed with the Saudis. I believe it is about free market. Your buddy that has the golf shop. He finds out tomorrow that the UK government has decided that Decathlon Sporting Stores will be the only store in the UK allowed to sell Golf equipment, clothing and accessories. All other golf shops must close their shops. Also the only automotive company that can sell cars is Tesla. The PGA owns and runs the World of Golf. Do you want to talk insane money. Think about how much money the PGA gets from televison coverage each year. They also ontrols the players of golf, these independent contactors that do not get health insurance, profit sharing travel expenses, nothing. So of course the PGA is going to fight. Next the Saudis. President Biden is visiting the Saudis to beg them to produce more oil. The Saudis are America's largest and most important importer/exporter. Let's talk about some small companies that deal heavily with the Saudis. Chase Manhattan Bank, RBC is listed as an underwriter of a 1.2 trillion dollar deal for the Saudis. The RBC is the Dustin Johnson's sponsor who cut ties with him because he decided to play in a LIV Tournament. Ford Motor Company that owns Bentley. Also Marriott Hotels, Hyatt Hotels, and the list goes on and on. You see a small independent golf cannot make money for him and his family but The major World Corporations can. There is something very wrong with all of this. Sorry for the long comments. Love your channel Gary!pushed towards two points by the media, social media, and the PGA Tour. 22. At least you don't have repeated conversations to cover for American tv advertising !!

  23. I have no issues with anyone of them playing in whatever tour they want. My issue is the ones that think we are daft and come out with guff like, "We want to spread the game of golf". The game of golf is already spread, its played all over the world. Why don't they just tell the truth that they are going for the cash. Fair play to Richard Bland as basically that is what he said!

  24. A friend of the greatest golfer of all time Bobby Jones said "Money will ruin sport"
Play the game for the love of it, all money does is give you choice…period.
Your health and happiness no amount of money can buy !!!

  25. It’s called evolution nothing in life ever stays still. And the USPGA linking it to trade tower bombings is shameful at worse 😳😳

  26. LIV is bloodwashing/poisonous politics, greed of greed's sake, paid exhibition golf for millions and not a real golf competition. I delete anything or anyone involved in it.

  27. PGA is for 80 year olds with its antiquated coverage. LIV golf is for everyone else who loves fast action and has a short attention span

  28. People hate new things! When 20/20 came into cricket folk hated it, yet now it’s the norm and loved. The fact that LIV exists means players fancied something new. Yes money is better but players want to earn what they can when they can. If another golf club offered you twice the money to be their professional wouldn’t you go?
