  1. Now, I put a Cobra LTDx MAX into my bag recently – replacing an elderly Taylormade M2. My God!! What a change, what improvement, how confidence-instilling! Love it! Makes me a very steady (and longer) driver of the ball!

  2. Would the max be more suitable for a higher handicap player?

  3. Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it in the comments, but in the UK, American Golf now have an exclusive on the blue version, so its no longer in the USA only.

  4. "Some sort of computering system…" Lol…I love that. Sounds like a good 'ol boy from down south…

  5. I've had my COBRA Bio Cell for quite a while and have been looking to upgrade. I am just not sure it's worth it or how much I'll gain. Going to test out some of these clubs this week.

  6. Cobra makes some really good drivers! I am still playing my Cobra Speedzone. And I have no reason to switch anytime soon!

  7. Just FYI, you can get it in the UK in the blue colour, I just picked mine up last night, epic driver.

  8. I bought the Radspeed XB for a killer deal since these came out. I paid quite a bit more when I bought the F9 new. Judging by distance there really hasn’t been the much variation. I think you should always include dispersion images between drivers. Hitting big distances is great, but keeping it in the fairway is crucial.

  9. Rick would you ever put that in your full tike bag though? thank you sir.

  10. You're just reinforcing my decision to pick up a used F9 for $200 CAD ($160 USD or 127 GBP)

  11. Just swit he'd from my sim2 max to a cobra ltdx today. Love it. Think it looks loads better and feels better too. 😌 selling my sim 2 max if anyone is interested haha

  12. Went to test a driver the other day and gave this one no real consideration but what a club – got it out there to 328 yards

  13. is it just me or did the radspeed out distance/carry these in every facet last year?

  14. Bought the RAD speed driver and now that I've learned how to hit with it, absolutely love it.

  15. Love cobra drivers
Sticking with the F9 for now
She has been very good to me… very very good

  16. the difference is that the drivers built for Bryson and Kyle are 4/5 degree heads…..

  17. That black and yellow is god awful ugly. The navy blue, red, and white is SEXY!! Best looking driver this year!!

  18. Kyle played the Krank driver brand years but alas money from Cobra lured him away.

  19. I just bought LTD X, and it actually hit 20m longer shots than Taylor made Stealth, with the same shaft.

  20. Is it worth investing in a driver like a beginner if you plan to continue playiong?
Or is it better to wait and pick up one used at a later point?

  21. Tried these today. Was tossing up between the ltdx and ping g425 max. Really liked both and was hard to split them. Then the guy at the shop walked off and I grabbed the Ltd low soon version thinking I still had the max…. paired 3 in a row straight up the middle 320 yards 30 yards longer then anything I hit with the other two. Just my experience. I’ll be getting the LTDx despite how much I loved the low spin version just because I want the forgiveness.

  22. I picked up the Cobra LTDxLS last week, I really love the look and feel. They took you advice and added LTDx to the head cover. I'm from Canada so I got it in the gold colour not the red that you showed for the LS. The improvement from my 10 year old pro select driver is 50 yards of carry! XD

  23. just ordered mine I have been playing the cobra F6 since new and thought it's time for a change i went for a fitting on a stealth and walked out with LTD X LS after getting crazy distance, only annoying thing now is that my driver is a different brand to the rest of my bag.

  24. Just admit what we all know but won't say. Cobra F9 is the greatest driver ever.

  25. Ric was getting 297 yrds carry with maverick 2 years ago, drivers are all maxed out in bang for buck and forgiveness, love the vids but till they allow tolerances to move nothings changing

  26. You guys are soooo focused on aesthetics in a performance game… its laughable

  27. Sporting a power core. Maybe Jack Hamm was onto something after all 😄

  28. No experience with the LTD drivers, but I respectfully disagree with you about the looks. I think they look super sharp. Personally I prefer the look of the F9, but I think they did a good job with these. Very sharp!

  29. Dang, so y'all really out here getting a new driver every year?

  30. Kayle said these clubs is getting better he was cracking them all

  31. Be careful with these reviews. Went and bought one and it's utter crap! 🙈

  32. Good to hear because I just bought the LTDx. Giving it my first try on Friday. My last driver is 7 years old. 👌🏻 ⛳️

  33. What was the longest best single shot???? Wish you shared the data like in your old videos 🙁

  34. After not playing for 6 years due to issue with back dusted off the clubs and had a few rounds, driving around 200-220 compared to in the past 250-270, went to try a new driver after talking to golf pro about it and he mentioned stealth, after hitting about 120 balls ended up with the ltdx was averaging 260-275 and with the draw weight in the heel was hitting them straighter even when I was just getting underneath them slightly was still hitting it 220, which is around where my good drives are just now. Best driver I've owned.

  35. Got my ltdx yesterday. I used to have a bit of a slice with my old callaway driver until yesterday. I’ve not hit a single shot right since owning the cobra ltdx. Now I’m straight down the middle. Don’t know why or how. I’m hoping Rick you may be able to give me an answer?

  36. Ummm how do you invest in carbon? Just curious. Like the review as always

  37. This video made me buy the F9 and what a 1st day on the driving range did I have today. Bombing over the fence going hunting for the horses in the field at the end.

  38. GREAT GREAT CONTENT RICK!

This driver was everything I wanted my Taylormade Sim driver to be. Numbers were so similar in performance, HOWEVER, I have found this driver to be sooooooooo much more forgiving. And I am playing the LS model as well.

  39. As others have stated, I went into a fitting today, with not really many expectations other than that I didn't like the sound of the G425 and wanted to stay away from the price-hiked Rogue ST and Stealth. FWIW, I'm coming from a 2017 M1 with a 75g Project X HZRDUS black that is as hard and heavy as an effing rock, so really anything would've been an improvement, just from a shaft stiffness and weight standpoint. Tried the G425, and while it was extremely forgiving, hated the looks and sound too much. Tried the Srixon ZX5 and didn't mind it, but was kind of vanilla. Tried the Mizuno ST-Z, which I REALLY wanted to like, but again, it was kind of vanilla. Immediately upon trying the LTDx I vastly preferred 1) the sound 2) the look at address 3) the feel, especially on off-center hits and, most importantly 4) the stats. I went from 240carry/275total to 275carry/310total. Now, I'm sure that probably 75% of it had to do with me being in the wrong shaft and wrong swing weight, but DAMN. Getting 35 more yards off the tee will finally allow me to realistically consider playing the tips this season. Cobra, FTW!
